Woodchoppers Jamboree
& Rodeo

The Riverside-Encampment Lions Club proudly presents the Annual Woodchoppers Jamboree & Rodeo each Father’s Day weekend — a celebration of the valley’s logging and ranching heritage. The weekend features fast-paced woodchopping competitions, classic Western rodeo events, family activities, local vendors, wood-fired barbecue, homemade pie, and cold drinks. From flying wood chips to bull riding and mutton busting, it’s a full weekend of small-town tradition and Western fun for all ages.

WeenieFest 2026!

Celebrate the 10th Annual Weeniefest at Riverside Garage & Cabins on the 4th of July for a free community cookout packed with small-town charm. Grab a free hot dog lunch, swap stories with locals and enjoy a laid-back afternoon in the heart of the Encampment River Valley. WeenieFest pairs perfectly with the area’s Independence Day festivities, including 5K runs, pancake breakfasts, parades and fireworks. It’s a hometown tradition built around good food, good company and celebrating the Fourth the Wyoming way.
